LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, 5TH MAY 2023 - Cinema Technology Community (CTC), the not-for-profit independent trade organisation has released a new episode of tech talks providing insights on laser speckle.
Following the previous tech talk on laser projection and CinemaCon 2023, CTC's global members have reached out over the past week asking for some more information on laser speckle.
CTC has invited back the CineEurope 2023 Gold Award winning Jan Rasmussen (Head of Screen Technology, Nordisk Film Cinemas (CineEurope 2023 Exhibitor of the Year) and CTC Advisory Council Member) to share his thoughts on this topic.
In this final instalment of Season 2, Jan shares insights on speckle explaining the scientific and technology factors affecting the visibility of this artefact, how content can influence perception and what can be done to try and mitigate speckle becoming an interference to movie-goers.
